8 month update

SO much personality now at 8 months. More active than ever!

• Started daycare
• LOVES stroller rides
• Transitioned to using bottles 100% of the time - doesn't breastfeed anymore :( - b/c 1) daycare (where they have to use bottles to feed her) and 2) she stopped being interested in breastfeeding a little after she turned 7 months, mostly b/c I think FOMO.. she got more interested in looking around her / playing rather than just facing my boob and eating lol
• BA BA BA was her favorite phrase for a good week.. now babbling and using various consonants and vowel sounds.
• Sometimes uses a raspy voice but then other times has a cute sing-songy voice lol, I wonder when she decides to use which..
• Loves being talked to and playing peekaboo
• Smiles especially more when dad is around! Apparently mama is no fun!
• Can now sit unassisted - was pretty rocky at the beginning of the month and now doesn't need any help!
• Literally EVERYTHING is super interesting to her and she wants to grab it! I'll put a toy on her chair and she can be entertained by herself for a while.
• Loves grabbing daddy's chin!
• Less interested in eating nowadays while we're at home b/c I think she'd rather play. Didn't feed her much in terms of solids this past month b/c we usually go out on the weekends, and on the weekdays, they already feed her at daycare
• Now on a 2 nap schedule (not 3 naps anymore!) 
• Still not the biggest fan of tummytime but seems to stay on her stomach more without protesting because she's now discovered that she can use her arm strength and stay up longer and kind of pivot in a circle all around but not crawl back and forth yet
• Stares at people while we're in elevator or eating at restaurants.. only smiles when smiled to lol (you're making people uncomfortable, Mya!)
• Got really sick this month - first time with a really bad congestion, second time having a fever! Used a nasal aspirator for the first time. That thing worked wonders! Poor thing couldn't sleep very well for a good 4-5 days because she was all stuffed up :(
• Grew out of her 6 month clothes and starting to wear 9 month clothes!
• Rolls around a LOT during diaper changes!! Always grabbing stuff near her
• Doesn't quite have any favorite toys.. she literally will grab most anything and find it entertaining. Even all the toys we've had since birth she hasn't gotten bored of!
• Still loves looking outside the window :)
• Not too much interest in eating throughout the day but then guzzles milk down when she knows it's bedtime
• Protests when we try to have her play with herself for a while - looks for us when we leave the room
