thanksgiving
playground in chinatown
mya loved the big slide & climbing up the wooden structure to go down a twirly slide. nice challenge
jackson went down a slide for the first time
met carlton's cat mochi for the first time and i think this was the first time she had real first contact with a cat! loved playing with him and kept making excuses to go see him "mommy, i'm hot." (it was cold outside where mochi was).. (touches her.. not hot).. oh.. are you saying you want to see mochi? (nods) ahh so cute. she kept smiling at him when mochi was reserved and then kept sticking her fist out like we taught her so that he would come. near the end she kept trying to lift him and hug him too
mya's been into bringing coloring books at school and she really does take to art!!
we brought like a pre-cursor sewing craft where you have to lace up an elephant together and she did it mostly by herself!! so cool
mya got really upset at a boy who pushed her at the playground and didn't wait his turn. did NOT like him calling her little and kept insisting she was not little
started getting into using chopsticks and upgraded her skill level in terms of chopsticks
loves dancing after dinner (requests specifically circus music!) she loves ballerina dancing i think bc her friend emily takes ballet classes
got to "twin" with her bestie emily in the h&m blue cat/dog dress :) i think she likes wearing ponytails lately bc emily wears ponytails

jackson warmed up to mochi quicker than i thought he would considering he's afraid of dogs.. but i think it's the activeness and barking that gets him.
had a phase for like 2-3 weeks where he doesn't each much for dinner (he prob eats a lot at school bc theyve never had concerns) and maybe his molars were coming in.
got really into duplos and magnatiles. loves to build houses and "dinosaurs"
loves saying "dinosaurrrsss roarrrr" and "monster coming! ahhhh"! and runs around so cute lol
really into books lately and DEFINITELY has his preferences. i think he likes pictures of animals and and the lift a flap type books. he LOVES the huge jungle animals book
still nervous around new people and his body goes all "crooked" when he starts walking towards a new person
when he's semi-tantruming he likes to just flop on the floor with face down and all, whining. such a character

moved them into the same room for sleep time. jackson did pretty good the first week, but in this second week, he's been coming out like 3-4x a night, not sure if its just a mental leap or the nightlight is distracting for him. mya did really well and like we thought, sleeps through jackson's stuff 90% of the time.

first light show at a xmas tree lighting event after thanksgiving at westlake with chloe and jackson! such cute pictures of them trying to grab the lights. def felt like a rave. there was fake snow afterwards and jackson kept trying to swipe it off of me, lol, so distracted.

new fav show for both of them: llama llama. i feel like jackson likes it more than mya lol
