getting better at enunciating his words
confidently said "horsey" when he saw unicorns on mya's pjs
seems to love horses lol. there's this one pic of mya on a horse and he literally will hold it for 10-15 mins just saying "horsey" and staring at it
said "it's mya!" when he saw a pic of mya
still loves bananas! he hasn't gotten sick of them since birth
can clap, show us his feet, nose, eyes, mouth, butt, ears
finally says 'mommy'
swam for the first time at calvin's house
not scared of fireworks after copying daddy and just saying 'boom' and smiling after it goes off
got RSV :(
mommy is still the go to person for comfort but he has more daddy time lately, esp morning cuddles and going to bed routine
loves books! specifically pointing at animals and cars. he knows most animals in the books in both chinese/english (he points correctly most of the time when we say both!)

one of my fav animals to point out is "ELE-PANT!" still calls dogs "muk dak"
calls birds "caw caw"
loves looking at trucks and cars
loves helping us throw trash away
loves him his cheese sticks, going outside and pointing at airplanes
still loves reading books and staying close to mommy
listens to me when i say "go boop daddy" and he goes poke him and says "boop"
loves mommy/daddys hugs
likes trying to take his diaper off when he's only in his diaper. has been successful once!
getting better at going down stairs. he might be able to go without assistance in a month.

mya
doesn't seem to need any warmup when going to a playground nowadays
loves her half moon necklace esp because she says its like mine
loves to dance/pose like a ballerina!
loves her seaweed & rice sandwiches (its like the only food she eats at dinner nowadays)
cherry = current fav fruit
still loves to draw, color, and paint
loves unicorns (teacher asks what she likes and she usually says unicorn, cinderella)
loves dress up and pretty things (putting her hair up, dresses, new shoes, necklace)
loves playing with chloe even though she is still shy
REALLY wants a cat. on separate occasions, said "we need to buy a leash for a cat" and "we need to buy cat food".
"I want a cat that moves. A yellow cat I can touch"
we happened to see a fake cat toy at a store and she was so lovingly petting it. she would love a cat soo much!
doesn't get to practice as many academic skills (like at primrose, with the abc and number writing practice) but i think her social skills have blossomed quite a lot! i'm glad she has a community here and more than one friend. i think her last teacher wasn't as good at nurturing and bringing out shy kids but these teachers are
can drop her off in the morning now with no tears
