mid-may to mid-june baby tingz 2y4m

mya's been doing random stuff and whenever she's doing something, she asks, "WHAT IS MYA DOINGGGG?" like she'll be rolling on the floor, and say, "WHAT IS MYA DOING???" I think she wants us to describe what she's doing or what someone is doing so she can put the words to the action.. so cute

monkey see, monkey do! there was one instance where i just ran to a wall and splat myself against it and she just followed me! i did this for a good few minutes and she was just following me doing the same thing. UGHHH

she likes riding on me like a horse when i'm stretching

loves going into the closet in her room to dig up her old baby toys and books.. of course we stored them away because we thought she was too old for them, but she still seems to enjoy them. i noticed she does like the same books but she'll interact with them a bit differently or she can actually recite some of the phrases and words back.
old renewed favs: ten little toes, and a box set of nursery rhyme books (little miss muffet, humpty dumpty)

likes to grab a step/stool to go in front of the light switch to see the fan turn on and spin

super helpful and quick to learn!! saw me get up to put away some laundry, and then picked up some laundry herself and followed me to hand me clothes. just today we went grocery shopping and she said she wanted to help hold the bags of groceries so we let her carry 2 bags of lettuce. she was so happy and proud!

there was one night that she literally ran non-step for 10m playing our own version of hide and seek. i would hide somewhere, and she would just call "mommyyyy, mommyyyy" to find me. once she found me, she would cackle and run back into the living room and laugh with daddy and then be like "where's mommy??!?" then run back into the rooms to try to find me.. rinse and repeat for literally 10 minutes. IT WAS SO CUTE

hasn't liked to sit still for dinner time in a hot minute. likes to grab her plate of food to bring to the lower table in the living room and sitting with her stool to eat by herself lol. maybe it makes her feel more like an adult not sitting in a high chair. i feel like she's been SOOO into playing that she hasn't cared to eat as much lately.

we got her these new dinosaur miniature figures and she freakin LOVES them. it's been about 2 weeks now. there was an instance where she was sitting by herself at the table for 10 mins (we left her alone bc we try to encourage solo play whenever we can) and we were wondering what she was doing.. lo and behold, we looked and she had actually organized some dinosaurs by type and lined them up nicely by herself!
