13 months! She learned a lot this past month (skill-explosion!!) so kind of cool that I still get a nice meaty post for y'all in terms of development :)
- started picking up things on her tray table and dropping it off the side when she doesn't want something
- still loves eggs, meat, and any juicy fruits
- third tooth peeking out on the top!
- more affectionate than ever!!!! loves being picked up and being hugged and cuddled
- puts her arms up and opens and closes her hands to be picked up! so cute
- still not officially crawling and doing a monkey crawl
- constantly crawls over and brings us toys
- loves following us around
- started being more mobile and actually chasing after toys that roll around
- can tell that she's observing us more closely and starting to imitate what we're doing
- loves when we sing to her
- mischevious smile when we peek at her from around a corner or behind an object
- started pulling to stand (from sitting) more confidently
- can transition from lying down to sitting position
- ^ because of these 2 new skills, she's been regressing on her sleep because she'll go to sitting position and just stay there (as if he's on strike) and fall asleep like that, folded over, and we have to go in to lay her down so she gets more restorative sleep
- likes taking things out of boxes, and just starting to put things back in
- got her a shape sorter toy and she's just starting to get the hang of fitting different shaped-blocks into their holes
- starting to want to get into drawers and things! we don't have much furniture/things but it seems like we'll FINALLY need to baby proof lol
- starting to learn how to drink out of a straw, but still loves her bottle
- weaned her off formula and now drinking cow's milk!
