actually SMILES for pics now when strangers take them (doesn't look terrified lol)
knows easy sight words (is, by, my, she, he, the, and) - she just started school about two months ago and has already noticeably progressed! she would get so flustered and defensive when we would try to read with her at home but she feels more confident with it now after practicing at school
homework is easy addition (1+3) and coloring groups of numbers and stuff. she finishes it quite easily and is probably top 10% of her class
carlo says she's like top 25% height of her class which is so surprising lol i wonder what percentile she's at or if everyone in her class is just short!
still doesn't really talk about friends, probably has some connections but nothing deep yet
loves school!
first field trip - pumpkin patch - daddy chaperoned and got to meet her classmates. he said it was a lot of waiting around for kids bc they get so easily distracted lol and that he doesn't have patience for kindergarteners. wrote a list of "bad apples" that he wouldn't want mya playing w, though, tbh she wouldnt play with those kinds of kids anyway

turned 3!
bday at home with annie the clown (balloons, face painting, very memorable puppet show)
pizza, mochi donuts, cupcakes (his favs for his birthday!)
didn't turn shy when people were singing happy bday hehe
still loves to dance/sing, often times talks to himself and creates stories in his head like when mya is home. mya is seriously such a good example for him and is almost like a teacher bc i think she likes regurgitating things from school and taking the role of teacher after being a student all day
very inconsistent naps
still snuggly
still not great at sitting still / eating dinner
so cool talking to him and having actual conversations. i think he's quite advanced for his age. he even made up a joke himself (i said happy friday! and he said happy french fry-day! - ive never said this to him before so he must have thought of it himself or maybe its from TV, who knows)
tall enough to turn on the light switch now
LOVES to comb pony's / ariel's hair. such a nurturing boi
grabs books by himself sometimes to flip thru the pages to look a pictures or try to recount the lines from the book
